此椅取料高密度紫光檀，烏黑油亮。紫光檀，又稱東非黑黃檀，密度高，打磨後形成的包漿若美玉。
此椅造型繼承明式風格，簡約舒朗。搭腦中部凸起，兩端上揚。三彎靠背板為獨板，彎曲較大，以大料斫制，尤其是下部弧突較多，乘坐時可抵住使用者的後腰，頗為舒適。扶手、聯幫棍皆為柔婉的三彎造型，十分典雅。座面藤編，邊抹漸次低落，座下三面安光素券口牙子。腿足有側腳，施步步高趕棖，正面腳踏棖及兩側棖子下又安刀牙板加固。整器素雅高大，乘坐舒適。線條簡潔，富文雅氣息。
