此支筆筒呈圓柱狀,取上佳紫檀為質,整挖製作。筆筒外壁凸雕雲龍紋,卷雲密布,龍在卷雲中若隱若現,矯健靈活,富於動感。筆筒全身施刻,刀法嫻熟,奏刀流暢,深淺有序,富有立體感。木質堅密細膩,木紋自然,陳於書齋之用,實為一佳器也
