此件皮球花粉彩茶葉罐由景德鎮手工瓷繪技藝清代官窯粉彩非遺傳人徐志軍繪製。
皮球花起源於團花，是抽象和具象結合的瓷器紋飾，它並不指某一種特定的花卉，而是用很多形狀的花卉其變形的裝飾方法。把各種花卉紋樣，統一變成圓形、六菱形的樣子，像一個一個色彩繽紛的小皮球。有的聚在一處，有的天各一方。滿繪不規則團花，看似紊亂但卻保留著中國傳統的對稱格局。 皮球花紋飾流行於清代雍正和乾隆時期，以鮮豔多彩的鬥彩而被廣大瓷器收藏者喜歡，清代的粉彩和鬥彩瓷器顏色多種多樣，讓皮球花紋飾發揚廣大。
