形如两匣书函上置两卷轴，并以丝绦捆系，两侧嵌黄杨木，镌刻细腻均匀纹理，以肖书页或画卷，双层书函，黄杨木精刻出书本纹理，下部两侧带钮，方便抽出，藏纳茶叶。
书函两屉配以覆瓦形拉手，画轴则配圆形钮，构思巧妙。书函侧面雕玉别子与盘系画轴的丝绦，皆惟妙惟肖。
