鱼藻纹是中国古代传统纹饰之一，其以鱼类为主，莲荷、浮萍和水草为辅，早于宋代磁州窑系即已开始运用，但风格简单朴拙。元代以后，在多样性及层次化的审美标准下，鱼藻纹构图日趋繁复，常绘于青花、釉里红、五彩等瓷器之上，作为大罐、大盘、梅瓶及玉壶春瓶等器类的主纹。
此青花藻纹杯薄如纸，声如磬，画工卓越。
