六方思亭源于传统紫砂器型。思亭壶在清代初期出现，到乾隆年间成为约定成俗的款式， 六方思亭壶，清 恒兴秋制思亭壶在清代初期出现。
这件六方思亭壶，大雅堂出品，非遗传人洪继科造。器型呈梨形开六方，曲流，圈耳把，高截盖，珠钮中带气孔，在传统的思亭壶式中另加棱线，使其呈现圆中寓方、刚柔并济的式度。乌木把防烫，秀玉钮点缀顶部。壶身光素。硫化处理除去浮华，添几分温润古雅。
