这件盖碗瓷绘线条细如发丝，极为精细。
花中祥瑞——灵芝纹：
明清时期陶瓷装饰纹样之一，灵芝作为瑞草在明代装饰纹样中为常见的题材，灵芝纹缠枝式，以灵芝、蔓草组合象征延年长寿。
此珐琅彩灵芝鸡心杯外壁珐琅彩灵芝纹缠枝式，万寿藤叶脉清晰，缠枝莲枝叶蔓卷，委婉多姿，很有动感，色彩搭配绚丽”。

除了绘制的繁琐精致，珐琅彩灵芝鸡心杯需要入窑四次烧制才能完成，每次都有风险。
清代珐琅彩原是专供帝后玩赏之器物。珐琅料是一种人工烧炼的特殊彩料，雍正六年（1728年）以前需依赖从欧洲进口，雍正六年以后，清宫造办处已能自炼20余种珐琅料是中国古代彩瓷工艺臻达顶峰时期的产物。
