插屏以色泽沉穆的红木制作，屏心格角攒边镶嵌板心，蓝漆地上以百宝嵌工艺镶嵌鹦鹉、花卉、青竹，色彩明丽；背面则彩绘山水人物，近景、中景、远景分明，恬淡宁静。屏心下绦环板铲地浮雕缠枝牡丹纹，洼堂肚式刀牙板沿边起拐子纹阳线，亦浮雕缠枝牡丹纹。桥形底墩浮雕如意云纹，上植立柱，以透雕纹饰的站牙抵夹，结构严谨而稳固。置于桌案，美观典雅。
