This Flat-lid Shuiping(Horizontal) Teapot is made of Zhuni Clay. It boasts a warm cinnabar-red luster, with a fine sandy texture visible on the surface and a metallic ring when tapped. Handcrafted, it bears the marks of natural subtle wrinkles. The pot has a well-proportioned shape with a flat-round body, its design sleek and free of redundant ornamentation; the belly is plump yet not cumbersome. It features an elegantly constricted neck, paired with a flat-pressed lid and a garlic-shaped knob. The center of the lid is slightly raised with soft, graceful curves, and the lid edge fits seamlessly with the pot mouth. The straight spout ensures a concentrated water flow and a crisp cut-off; the loop-shaped handle has a comfortable, ergonomic curve with varying thickness, finished with delicate lines. It follows the classic Three Peaks Level principle — the highest point of the spout, the rim of the pot mouth, and the highest point of the handle are strictly aligned on the same horizontal line, ensuring balanced weight distribution when held.
