Crafted from warm yellow Duan clay with a fine, dense texture, this teapot boasts an elegant matte finish. Its base color and streaks perfectly replicate the natural grain and hue of Xiangfei bamboo, blending the inherent smoothness of Yixing clay with the lifelike appearance of a freshly cut bamboo segment from the woods—exuding a sense of understated natural grace.
Shaped like a bamboo joint, the teapot body is adorned with scattered brown streaks, resembling the iconic "tear marks" naturally found on Xiangfei bamboo. The spout, beam handle, and knob all follow the bamboo-joint design, mimicking the look of bent bamboo branches with clearly defined nodes and branching details. The slender, curved spout is fashioned like a bamboo tip, seamlessly matching the bamboo-segment texture of the body. A cicada ornament sits atop the bamboo-joint knob; the veins on its wings and the texture of its body are meticulously rendered, integrating flawlessly with the knob below.
