This tea set is crafted from dicaoqing clay, featuring a brownish-tan hue and a smooth, dense texture. The gold splashed finish on its surface further enhances its delicate and eye-catching appeal.
Modeled after natural bamboo stalks, the set achieves a vivid bionic design in both form and spirit. The teapot body is structured with multiple bamboo joint segments; the raised lines of each segment are sharp and neat, perfectly mimicking the natural growth texture of bamboo without any trace of forced ornamentation. Its fitted lid closes seamlessly, with a slightly arched knob shaped like a curved thin bamboo twig. The three-curved spout imitates the graceful, bending posture of a bamboo branch, while the teapot handle echoes the natural bent form of bamboo—both elements harmonizing with the bamboo joint motif of the body.
The accompanying cups also adopt the bamboo joint design, with their handles matching the teapot’s style exactly. This teapot is crafted from dicaoqing clay, boasting a calm purple-brown hue with an even, pure finish. The sand particles in the clay are fine yet not slippery, and its luster is warm and gentle—never harsh to the eye. When admired at length, it exudes an air of primitive simplicity and understated elegance.
Drawing inspiration from the natural imagery of "bundled bamboo," the teapot body is formed by tightly joining and enclosing multiple bamboo joint-shaped clay slabs. Each bamboo segment is arranged in an orderly manner with distinct textures, as if crafted from real bundled bamboo branches. A band around the waist cinches the body, enhancing its vivid and neat appearance. The spout, handle, and lid all echo bamboo’s form: the spout mimics the curved shape of a bamboo tube, the handle resembles intertwined and bent bamboo branches, and the lid integrates the texture of bamboo joints. The piece blends rustic natural charm with refined artistic order.
