This Junde teapot boasts a swollen belly and a short pear-shaped silhouette, paired with a three-curved spout that tilts upward, a ring-shaped handle, a flush-fitting lid and a spherical knob. Crafted from aged zhu ni clay mined from Zhaozhuang Mountain, it showcases a vermilion hue tinged with a subtle flush—radiant yet not garish, smooth-textured yet not slippery. The teapot body is adorned with naturally distributed creases and beautiful flow patterns. When scalded with boiling water, it instantly reveals a delicate bright red shade, and a faint violet luster shimmers across the surface. A tap on the body produces a crisp, metallic sound—high-pitched and brisk.
The pot’s body is round and plump, with lines that gently unfurl upward from the foot to the shoulder, transitioning seamlessly into the neck. The flush-fitting lid is slightly convex, with its rim fitting perfectly into the mouth of the teapot; the small, rounded spherical knob adds a touch of liveliness and elegance. The three-curved spout features soft, smooth curves that echo the teapot’s overall grace, while the ring-shaped handle fits comfortably in the palm. Its unadorned, plain form is understated and refined, with minimalist, restrained lines that embody the aesthetic of "the harmony of hardness and softness", striking a perfect balance between staunch stability and delicate grace.
