This Flat Lantern Teapot is crafted from the Zhuni clay sourced from Xiaomeiyao. It boasts a warm, orange-red luster, which will take on a delicate and bright red texture when rinsed with hot water.

The pot body is flat-round and solid, embodying the aesthetic of "flat-roundness as its frame and plumpness as its flesh". The mouth of the teapot is narrow and constricted, then flares out gently in a smooth curve down to the belly, which is shaped like a full pouch with seamlessly rounded, edgeless lines that exude a calm and unshakable stability.

The teapot mouth, spout and handle are perfectly balanced in height. The three-curved spout rises gently with a soft arc. The flush lid fits so tightly against the mouth that the gap between them is as fine as a hair. The small, flat-round knob is exquisitely made, with concise yet dynamic lines.
