This teapot is a work by Qin Xun, a renowned master of zhuni clay ware. The zhuni clay boasts a smooth, jade-like luster and a delicate texture, with elaborate craftsmanship applied to every detail. Under light and shadow, it reveals the unique aesthetic of subtle wrinkles inherent to zhuni clay.
Modeled after the classic Siting teapot design, it features a clean, unadorned form that exudes understated elegance. Its lines are minimalist and restrained; the domed lid knob sits proudly atop the lid, with lines flowing smoothly downward from the teapot neck. The slender three-curved spout extends gracefully upward from the body, while the ear-shaped handle curves with poised moderation. The entire teapot showcases a seamless flow of lines, embodying a plump, graceful charm.
