The jar features a bulbous belly and a ring foot, boasting imposing dimensions. Its body is solid and heavy, with a tight integration of body and glaze; both its form and the body-glaze combination embody the quintessential Kangxi characteristics. The jar’s body is adorned with the classic brocade ground and four medallions, inside which the Antique Motif and Flower-Bird Motif are exquisitely painted. The decorative motifs are elaborate and delicate, and the vessel itself has a well-proportioned, dignified shape. The blue underglaze color boasts a rich and vibrant hue, and the entire body is fully covered with brocade ground patterns. The ceramic body is fine-textured, and the glaze presents a lustrous and smooth finish.
