Mr. Zhang Tianfu passed away at the age of 108, a perfect life, his spirit will live on forever.

During his lifetime, Mr. Zhang was a strong supporter of Dayatang's intangible cultural heritage tea industry and appealed to the public: "Pay attention to intangible cultural heritage and let traditional craftsmanship be passed down from generation to generation!" At the age of 106, he gladly inscribed the words "Tea Affinity" for Dayatang.

Zhang Tianfu was a "tea scholar" who made outstanding contributions to the Chinese tea industry. He dedicated his life to tea education, production, and research, achieving remarkable success, particularly in training tea professionals, developing tea-making machinery, and improving the quality of oolong tea. He made significant contributions to the restoration and development of tea in Fujian Province. In his later years, he devoted himself to teaching tea tasting techniques and advocating for tea culture, calling for organic and ecological tea gardens.

The late Mr. Zhang Tianfu often mentioned that tea is the unity of heaven, earth and man. The character for "tea" is formed by the combination of man and plants. Twenty plus eighty-eight equals one hundred and eight, so "tea longevity" means a long life of one hundred and eight years. Mr. Zhang's long life is a blessing for the tea industry!

In this respect, Mr. Zhang can be described as living a perfect life. His 108th birthday is a testament to his extremely high quality of life as a long-lived elder. Every year, his birthday is a party for tea lovers, and he attends it every year.

At the age of 107, Mr. Zhang was still able to write the calligraphy works of "frugality, purity, harmony and tranquility".

The elderly man has now lived a long and fulfilling life, and has passed away peacefully.

Like the most precious tea, it is mellow and has an endless aftertaste, and will be remembered for thousands of years!
