He started working at a tea factory in 1974, engaging in tea cultivation, production, and evaluation for over 30 years. He was also involved in the management and production of Wuyi rock tea, represented by Da Hong Pao.

He previously served as the head of a comprehensive tea plantation, the Rock Tea Corporation, and the Tea Research Institute. Experts like Wang Shunming, who span the production, sales, and research sectors of the tea industry, are rare.

Teacher Wang Shunming has personally managed the Da Hong Pao mother trees for more than 20 years, and he jokingly says that he has dedicated his youth to these 6 trees.
Perhaps, no one truly understands the Da Hong Pao mother tree better than him.
